After upscaling Larry's acid-trip cinematic, I decided to head on to Sierrawallpaper.com, grab the screenshots for LSL7 and give them a go with ESRGAN. the end result is pretty impressive. But before the upscaled screens, here's the upscaled cinematic.
The upscaled resolution for the cinematic is 1280x960, the original resolution is 320x240. But now, for the screenshots. LSL7 scenes are in the resolution of 640x480, so they do have considerably more information in them than the cinematic. They do have rasterized colours though because of colour reduction. But, after finding suitable upscale models, the end result looks very nice.
The resolution was scaled to 2560x1920. The upscaled sprites look pretty decent as well, so I'm certain if the scenes and the sprites would be scaled separately, the end result would look even better. In conclusion, I'd say the art style of LSL7 works very well after scaling.
And finally the wallpapers you get as a reward from completing Larry's attempts in seducing the women.
